Participation Terms

These Participation Terms apply to individuals taking part in leadership programmes, cohorts, workshops, and any included 1:1 support delivered by Impactful People Limited.

By enrolling in a programme or participating in any related sessions, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Our Agreement

By taking part, you’re engaging Claire Lowry-Hubball and Impactful People Limited to provide leadership development and practical support.

This work is built on:

  • Mutual respect

  • Honest conversation

  • A shared commitment to progress and learning

2. What This Support Is

Programmes and sessions are designed to help you:

  • Think clearly about leadership challenges and decisions

  • Build confidence and judgement in your role

  • Lead with intent, not reaction

  • Develop practical habits that support effective leadership

Delivery may include:

  • Group learning sessions

  • Facilitated discussion

  • Reflection exercises

  • Optional or included 1:1 support, where stated

3. What This Support Isn’t

This work is not:

  • Therapy or counselling

  • On-demand advice or crisis support

  • A substitute for your own decision-making or accountability

You remain responsible for your actions, choices, and how you apply what you learn.

4. How We’ll Work Together

  • Sessions run as scheduled and are delivered live unless stated otherwise

  • You’ll get the most value by showing up engaged and willing to reflect

  • I’ll show up prepared, focused, and invested in the quality of the experience

If something isn’t working, we’ll talk about it and adjust where appropriate.

5. 1:1 Support (Where Included)

Some programmes include individual 1:1 sessions.

Where 1:1 support is included:

  • Sessions are typically 60 minutes unless stated otherwise

  • Sessions must be booked within the programme timeframe

  • Unused sessions do not carry over beyond the programme

1:1 support follows the same principles as group work and is focused on reflection, perspective, and practical next steps.

6. Fees and Payment

  • Programme fees are confirmed in advance and payable to secure your place

  • Prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT where applicable

  • Payment terms are confirmed at booking and invoiced via Xero

Your place is only confirmed once payment has been received.

7. Cohort Numbers and Delivery

  • Programmes are designed to run with a minimum number of participants

  • If fewer than 6 people join a cohort, you may be:

    • Offered a place on a future date, or

    • Offered a full refund

8. Cancellations and Changes

Open or scheduled cohorts

  • More than 28 days’ notice before the programme start date: refund minus a 20% admin and preparation fee.

  • Less than 28 days’ notice: no refund.

  • No refunds for missed sessions or early withdrawal once the programme has started.

  • If fewer than 6 participants are confirmed for a cohort, the programme may be rescheduled. In this case, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

In-house cohorts

  • Cancellation terms apply to the programme as a whole, not individual participants.

  • Changes to dates, scope, or format must be agreed in writing.

  • Additional sessions or extensions are out of scope unless agreed separately.

  • Substitutions may be permitted with notice, subject to agreement.

1:1 Support

  • Sessions can be rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice.

  • Missed sessions or sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are counted as used.

  • This support is delivered as a prepaid package of sessions. Once booked, sessions are non-refundable and must be used within the agreed timeframe.

9. Confidentiality

  • What’s shared in sessions stays within the group

  • Personal context, challenges, and experiences are treated with care

  • If I’d like to use anonymised insights, stories, or testimonials, I’ll always ask first

10. Tools and Materials

  • Frameworks, tools, and resources are for your personal use

  • They may not be shared, reproduced, or used commercially without agreement

All materials remain the intellectual property of Impactful People Limited.

11. Conduct

To protect the experience for everyone:

  • Respectful participation is expected

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the programme without refund

12. Acceptance

By enrolling in a programme or attending sessions, you confirm that you’ve read and agreed to these Participation Terms.
